Popfuel was created in 2004 by Jeremy Wilson so he could make t-shirts and stuff for friends and family. He did this out of a cold, dark, unfinished room in his basement that didn't allow for much more than runs of 20 or so shirts, if even that, nor was there room for washout booths, drying racks or a proper darkroom - but shirts were still made.

In late 2005, in an effort to expand into paper printing and larger runs of t-shirts, as well as addressing the laments of local printers in regards to the lack of decent shared space, he decided to pursue the idea of making Popfuel an open shared studio. The studio opened for business in June, 2006 and is currently looking for members!

If you're interested in joining Popfuel, please read the FAQ and fill out the form on the main page, or feel free to email us to ask any questions you might have in regards to this project.
